About Jenny Krupka

Jenny Krupka is an artist from Sparks, Nevada. She began painting at a young age after taking part in a secession while on vacation. With her family’s encouragement, she continued to explore the world of art and enjoys using both oil and acrylic paint. Recently she’s begun trying her hand at graphic art and is excited to expand her knowledge of it.

A nature lover at heart, Jenny is both inspired and enthralled by the beauty in the natural world. Caring deeply about the environment, she believes “nature is the most beautiful and true thing in this world, and everything else is just minuscule in comparison.” Her art aims to have the viewer see the beauty and value in nature. Some of her pieces incorporate man made items in the presence of the natural world. She does this to encourage the viewer to think about how industrialization has made an impact on the environment. It is her hope that her pieces create dialogue, bring awareness to the environment, and influence change.

Inspired by impressionist art, Jenny appreciates the work by Chris Long, Julia Kamenskikh, Jane Hunt, and Jim Musil. Many of her pieces, but not all, are in the impressionist style, which she was first exposed to in college. Jenny paints on canvas, wood boards, and even walls. Her dream is to paint a public mural, so she can share her passion and message with as many others as possible.
